Hi!

With my old Mercury 30HP I could turn the key and it would start, with this I need to turn it 2-3 times before it starts, but stops after half a second. When I turn the key again it will start right up no problem.

Not using choke. Only pumping the tank thingy.

Is this normal? The comp. Is pretty OK. 112-113 to 120 PSI. Carbs are cleaned. Older plugs though. Dunno how old, perhaps a year or two.

I want to make my engine to start as easy as possible. Thanks. :)

Use the fast idle lever and use the enricher / choke system as intended.

So that I need to turn the key 2-3 times before it starts with no extra gas and choke is good?

Thanks for your answers! :)

EDIT: Idle RPM is 900-1000. So it's pretty high i suppose?
