Mariner 60hp - Asking Opinion

Hi. I am looking at purchasing a 1996 Starcraft 17' boat with a 1996 Mariner 60hp motor. I was just wondering if anyone has heard any good or negative reports about this motor that I might need to be aware of.

I would appreciate any input. Thanks

good motor if maintained properly, built by mercury, but the line has been dropped. as far as replacement parts, i do not know.
