Hi there fishon71 This engine model is a 1984/85 engine model. The model number 7008205 has it as an 1985 while the chart has it as an 1984. 1985 7008205 Mariner Outboard Parts. Search the model number online for a parts catalog or here's another one for you, 6G1-007990 THRU 027237

Thanks, after an hour of searching the internet and calling a few dealers I called Mercury direct, woman was very helpful and determined the year was 1985 and also helped me with obsolete part numbers I needed, I found the discontinuted parts on eBay - thanks for your help
