We have been given a 9.9hp Mariner two stroke. I have two questions. First, we are unsure of the model year. The model is marked as 9.9M with the code 682C S. Anyone know the correct model year? Second, under the cowling, there are two paired green wires in a blue sheath on the port side which are disconnected. I cannot tell to what, if anything, these were attached. The motor runs as is though a bit rough at idle speed. Thank you to anyone who can shed some light on these issues.
