MARINER 90HP YEAR???

Hi, just wondering if anyone can help me, I am looking at purchasing a mustang 1700 half cabin with a 90hp Mariner, I am trying to find out what year the motor is but the only numbers I can see on it are #87872 and #8061888 and also does anyone know if these are a good hull....<br /><br />any help is greatly appreciated.<br />THANKS

It's a good hull that rides comfortably.. I have the 1980 hull and only have had issue of lean when 2 people lean to look at what's coming up over the side whilst at rest ...
