Hi There. Purchased a rebuild kit for carbs and fuel pump for Mariner Mag II 150 and completed work during winter. Today I started motor on muffs. Once started, RPM's climbed to 2000 then dropped to 1500, then started climbing to 4000. All in a matter of a few minutes. The idle lever was not engaged. Can someone help please.
