mariner outboard what kind?

i have a mariner outboard that has 150 magnum 2 on it. when i type in the serial # in at mercury web site it tells me that it is a 2.4L magnum 2. Is a 150 a 2.4L? Any response is appriceated.

It looks like it's a 1991 150 v6 CXL...

And yes,. 2.4L can be a 150...
