My wife are average people with one son who recently finished college. As all parents we want him to meet the right girl and marry well. We met his new girlfriend and I was very surprised when I saw a picture of her holding a shot gun. Then I learned she knows about boats too. But when she told me her dads favorite toy was a 27 foot Chaparral I said to myself "marry her son"

I was confused wondering if you wanted your boy to marry someone's son -- not that there's anything wrong with that. I think a comma would help.

"Marry her, son."

It's really a direct address comma. :)

You dropped this and I wouldn't want you to need it again and not have it

Well if she's holding a shotgun, your son better not be late for the wedding....;)

I also found out that she rode a jetski from their lake house in OHIO all the way across lake erie to canada.....she is 2 years older than my son and she has never been married. She has taught public school for over 5 years, owns her own condo and has a masters degree...My son and I dont have much in common but he like me has a weakness for SMART women and admits it...I will try to find a picture of her and post it....
