Hey....been working on this Martin I acquired a year ago....replaced water pump, coils, plugs, cables, points, condensers. Starts right up every time but seems to lack power. besides the low speed and high speed adjustments is there a throttle adjustment that I am not aware of. Ay ideas as to what could be causing this lack of power. Manual indicates bent prop...this is ok and low compression (not sure if this is the problem.....any ideas are welcome....thanks Victor

Make sure the carburetor throttle butterfly shaft is opening all the way. If memory is correct, pushing the button on the end of the tiller closes the carb to slow down.

If compression is so low as to affect top speed, it probably would be hard to start.
