I added a touch today when topping off my boats tank today then wondered if this may have been a bad idea, LOL ..? <br />Does anyone know if it's OK to use this stuff with 2 stroke outboards ?<br />My concern is it may not be " ash free " as it burns..<br />Thanks,,,, :) <br />Alan

Don't worry about it. It won't hurt anything, and it'll make the fuel smell really good. How much is "a touch?"<br /><br />Really...that's not what it's designed for, but a little won't do any harm. Try Sea Foam, though. It's designed for this purpose.

That small amount won't do any harm. I doubt it will do much good either, given that you already are burning a high-quality oil in your gas anyhow.

Even though Im a huge fan of MMO, I dont think it is worth anything in a 2 stroke outboard, a four stroke may get some gains from it though.

No harm if you don't use it instead of TCW3.

The only reason I've heard for running MMO is for sticky lifters. A airplane mechanic told me to run it in an airplane engine that had one sticking lifter...I tried it for 20 hrs and it didn't solve the problem. Anyway, it's a solvent and breaks sludge loose. All I see it doing on a 2 stroke is diluting lube oil.
