i heard that this stuff is good for cleaning out old engines and stuff, is it safe for my 1955 evinrude fleetwin 7.5? also on my pistons, there are these metal thingemabobs on the top. what are they, i cant realy tell what they are by looking in the spark plug hole.. thanks

Never use products intended for automobiles in outboards, NB.<br /><br />The "thingamabobs" on the piston are deflectors to force the incoming charge to the top of the cylinder.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . .<br />JB
