Has anyone tried to use an outboard leg as part of the powertrain from an inboard diesel ?<br />Maybe a gearbox where the motor used to be and a PTO shaft between engine and outboard.<br />I want the grunt and reliability of a diesel and the kick up prop of an outboat for shallow water and beaching.
