Max HP

Does anyone know of any websites or other resources that would contain listings of hulls max hp ratings. I got chewed out pretty bad in my last post for raising the hp in my boat and there's no plate that I can see to tell me just how dumb I'm being.

Do not feel offended - I'm sure none was meant <br /><br />It is a hard to find accurate specs when you cannot accurately id the boat.<br /><br />There are rules of thumb to decide on it, but they are rather 'on the safe side'. <br /><br />No too long ago a post here had a link to a site with formal info about this

I can ID the boat, everything but what the max hp is. If anyone knows of or knows where that link is that would be really helpful.

Sorry envy, no offence was meant in your other post. I overpowered a boat before and had to scrap it or it would have killed me eventually. See you other post.

I think my Johnson 115 is a little higher than the 1970 Glastron 166 it's attached to is rated for. It's that the boat shop mounted on there 30 years ago before the sold the set-up brand new to my dad. I think the boat is rated for 90hp. I thought I read somewhere that there is some variance though, not sure what it is though.
