Max RPM?

Can anyone tell me what would be the Max RPM for 1987 70 horse Johnson two stroke. May need to change my Prop pitch.

5000-6000 rpm. Best range to run is 5500 rpm.

Agreed. I believe OMC's recommended 'optimal' range is 5k - 5500. Not to say you couldn't rev one a lil higher ...?

The max hp is developed at 5500 rpm.
