HI, I have two manuals for this engine but am unable to locate the the WOT or redline rpm's for this engine. Its on a 18' Cajun and has a Viper prop (pitch unknown) and at 40mph its 4500 rpm's (about 3/4 throttle). Is there any one out there who knows the answer? Last thing I want to do is fry the engine from my own lack of knowledge.
Thanks to all.

Your target rpm is 5800-5900 with an average load. If the pack has a limiter in it its around 6200. If you have a pack without a limiter the reeds will start to flutter around 6200-6300 and will limit you to somewhere in that area. Installing Boyesen reeds will get you past that. Stock port timing and area will peak out somewhere in the upper 6000 range. The stock 200 cf port configuration will get you to about 7000 rpm.

Good luck!
