Max wot specs needed 1984 50 hp Johnson

My Seloc manual says 4500 wot. Anyone with an OEM manual? Just bought the motor recently and it is running 4850 to 5000 now. Seems to run good there. Thoughts? Thanks, Ken

with the lousy fuel we have now days, that is fine. it will run cooler there, than back at 4500.
