Ok me again. I finally got all mt t/t problems fixed. So I go out to the lake yesterday and boat is running great for 1 1/2 hrs. Anyway I stopped a total 3 times and on that last stop my boat wouldnt start back up. It turns over but just will not start back. A guy came out and looked at it and used 2 screwdrivers to test spark. Is that right? Anyway he said it wasnt getting any spark. So if I am not getting any spark what do I do now? thanks

Re: Maybe no spark??

Confirm that you have no spark first. Most (hopefully) likely could be an ignition switch problem. That'd be the one part I can think of that would fail in that manner. But unfortunately it could be just about anything else in the ignition system. If you have a lanyard kill switch, make sure it isn't tripped.

Re: Maybe no spark??

The first step would be to buy a spark tester (in an auto store) and see if you get a strong spark on each wire.
