Mc-1 gimbal housing

Opps, i meant mc1 not mcm, just got my mistake there. Okay here's another question, can a alpha one upper bolt up to McM-1 gimbal housing, and match up? Pardon my ignorance to these things, but it will make my mind up on upgrading my current power plant. Mainly need to know that so I can plan picking up a alpha one drive now so I can re figure my transom when I replace it, which is soon. And one other question, I have a alpha one setup for a 4.3 merc. Can I use that inner plate and bearing housing for now or would the whole setup work with a 3.0 merc without much mods. Curious minds need to know, lol

Ayuh,... If yer gonna Up-grade to an Alpha 1, from an MC-1, I'd do the Whole thing, transom, 'n drive...

Mixin', 'n matchin' the MC-1, 'n Alpha 1, inside the transom leads to Abuncha Gotcha's...

Thanks bond-o, was checking to make sure. Still have my alpha from my deck boat, if I get a new upper so the gear ratio is correct, won't it work as well for the 3.0 engine. Trying to spend less
