I just picked up a mcculloch 7.5 for 20 dollars at a yard sale the serial # 8000019600 if any body has any info that would be great it starts up but does not want to run very steady i just started tinkering with it probably needs a tune up i have not changed any thing yet

Welcome.
Model number is easier to use to ID the motor.

Were can i find the model number? The only other number i found was 70408A under the motor cover.

Look all over probably on the mounting bracket.
If a 60 it will begin with A or C if 61-65 8 digits beginning with a 6 or.
66-67 5 digits beginning with 8.
