Mckee Craft Hammerhead information

Im looking at picking up a 1990 22ft CC Mckee craft hammer head and was wondering if any of you guys know anything about these boats and how they were constructed , the only problem I saw when I looked at it was the deck lid over the gas tank seemed soft, but I think its made out of glass not sure if it has a wood core or not.
Any info would be great

I have owned 2 McKees and if still being built would own another. I had a 172 Backwater and 22 Freedom. I know by 2000 there was zero wood in their boats. Two suggestions-- 1st go to THT and go to the McKee thread. You will find experts on that model there. If all else fails send me a PM Monday.

I've read a bunch of stuff on THT but still can't find a lot of info about the deck lids covering the fuel tank. I know the rest of the deck is foam filled so it's solid as a rock.
