Need to figure out how much electrical energy a PC is using at a particular time.

I'm doing some research on how much energy a PC computer uses during regular operation, verses sitting in the power save mode.

Is there a simple device to measure/figure usage?

Any help from the wise boaters appreciated.

Measure the amp draw. My guess is the biggest power draw is gonna be the cooling fan or maybe the monitor. I'd be curious to know what you discover.

c/6

Hooty
