1990 Mastercraft Prostar 190 is the boat. We are ordering a tower for it and they suggest to measure two distances between 42 and 48 inches apart. I was thinking to measure just on each side of the windshield. Should I measure to the edge of gunwale? and then actually mount it below the gunwale to where there is access in the hull?

Suggestions on measuring and mounting the tower?

Tommy

Here are a couple of places you might find the answer.

WakeWorld.Com Forums
Check out the "Boats and Boat Accessories" section. These guys are fanatical about inboard boats like yours. Knowledgeable about all kinds of upgrades and modifications.

DoItYourselfTower.com
A site that might have info on where to measure to best install the tower.

Good Luck, upload some pics when you are done, I wish I could afford a tower on mine.
