Mechanics fee ?

What is the going rate per hour charge? Does $95.00 an hour sound right?I live in NY....

Down here in NC its $85 an hour...so its within range...why ? gonna be a boat wrench er?

sounds right...there was a really long post on this not too long ago, and it was averaging around 100/hr if i recall.

Same here $85.00 bucks in upstate NY you will pay way more for labor then you will for the part. You need to find a good one and just stick with them so you know your not getting the run around and screwed out of money.

95 an hour is in the appropriate range for a certified shop.

In CA depending on the shop it will be any where from $100.00 all the way up to $150.00, With $110.00 to $130.00 the average.
