I've been searching high and low for the 'best' hull cleaner for water spots/stains. I always towel dry the boat after taking it out of the water, but those stubborn water stains seem to always stay. How can I make them disappear once and for all? I've read that Meguiars #47 is some good stuff. I'm looking for a spray and wipe off application that I can use just after leaving the boat ramp.

What do you all think? Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Re: meguiars #47 for water stains

new product out called liquid glass....it is exactally that.

nothing sticks to it......its primary market is anti grafitti treatment....paint just washes off !

shammy the boat to dry.

as far as the meguiars i havent used it for that.

it also depends on the ph of the water your in.......i boat in water with a lot of calcium and hard water stains are everywhere...

i use industrial toilet bowl cleaner (acid wash) each month.
quick easy as washing a car.
