Kept noticing all the new members coming into the repair forum. Took a look at the current count...74,761. Closing in on the 75K mark. That's a lot of humanity and broke boats.....

I wonder where the predictions stand on when iboats would reach 100k members. There was a thread that allowed predictions and would award a prize for the closest guesser.<br /><br />I think the membership was right about or approaching 50k at the time the contest was initiated.

I drifted in Sept. '04 as member 49285. You do the math. This is a good time to thank all the old-timers hangin' around at the dock giving out that solid advice. I don't post much since I was able to get my old hulk running good thanks to all the great expertise here. Yeah, there's a lotta broke boats but there's probably just as many that have been fixed by now. Not too many forums that are actually growing either. And not too many that don't regress into a cesspool of flaming and backbiting. 100K is a no-brainer.

It is awesome to have watched (and still watching) the membership grow. Never in my mind did I think this site would grow so quickly. 5 years is a long time, but time flies why your having fun.

Dunno RP. Maybe fore the end of the summer season. If we can get SBN's little buddies to log on and register....might be before then......there in his neighborhood ya' know. Well....that's what he says anyways. But I know they ain't all there. Sum are up here along the Muddy Banks.

Best start reading up on matter/antimatter proton drives or we may not be able to help much up in the repair forums.<br />Do you think iboats will deliver????<br /><br />

WOWWWW over 75,000!!!!! <br />From the tally, seems that IBOATS and it's ADMIN are doing something right!!!! There is alot that could be learned about boats, from motor repair to gel coating to restoration on this forum!!!<br /><br />My HAT is off to those of you with the knowledge and wisdom that you share with us!!!
