Should be great to work with, BS-1088 is the highest standard

That would be 1/2”.

If you aren’t doing a restoration, and willing to modify a bit , go with 5/8”.

I used Menards marine rated plywood in my transom rebuild. It was special order but reasonable priced compared to other sources

Why would Menards mean he is north of Kentucky? I know I shopped them west of the Mississippi but generally stick with my local lumberyard before hitting Lowes, Home Depot then Menards.

the most southern Menards is in Kentucky. so yes, he would be north of Kentucky
