MENEMSHA on ebay

This boat is about a ten minet drive from my house. I've alway like the Menemsha's I'm puting some thought into bidding on this one. What do you guys think of this boat?<br />Whats inside that thing? I've neaver seen one in person, but would like to go look at this one in the next few days?<br />Has anyone got any idea of what it might be worth? Very COOL indeed. Never seen one before, but hey-it's a Whaler!!<br /><br />I don't like that trailer though. Seems a bit undersized.

Buy It Now price is a bit high, Ryan.<br /><br />The leaning post detracts. Menemshas should be original and are cruising boats, not offshore fishermen.<br /><br />The cabin is laid out like most small cabin boats. Sleeps 2, has place for a galley and the Port-a-Potti.<br /><br />But: a rare and desirable Whaler. Certainly worth 5 to 6 Grand.<br /><br />Good luck.

Thank you for the replys,<br /><br />I'm going to look at it eather this afternoon or tomorrow morning. JB hit the nail right on the head. 5-6 grand is all income really will let me spend on this boat and is all that a boat that old is really worth to me anyway. In the meantime I'd like to learn more about the cabin. Does anyone know were I can see a picture of the inside of one? <br /><br />11

Thanks for the link but I've read close to every page of the CW wedsite. The page that is linked is were I've learned everything about the boat that I now know. (Not much)<br /><br /> I'm not willing to pay any more then 6 grand. I was not planning on buying a boat this year because of lack of time to use it. <br /><br />But when I do get on the water I'd like to have something bigger then the 1975 11' sport boston whaler that I've got now.<br /><br />Almost everyone that I've showed the Menemsha to did not like it. I've been told that it looks like the SS MINNO. <br /><br />I don't know, I like the look of the boat. <br /><br />Anyway, we'll see what happends tomorow.<br /><br />11

Ryan<br />If you like it, that's all that matters. I do hope the 17'er is more roomy than the 16'er. It looks awfully cramped...
