Merc 110 9.8 fuel pump diaphragm gasket, which one?

I diassembled and discarded old carb gaskets. After cleaning the carb and going to reassemble, I found that there are 2 different pump diaphragms in the kit, one is smooth black and the other is textured and lighter colored. I don't remember what came out of it. The manual I have only shows one going in and doesn't really illustrate which one. Which one am I to use? Or if both, in what order? The Merc fuel pump kit # used here is 1399 - 5137. Thanks.....

go to mercruiserparts.com and look it up, they have parts diagrams that will show which one it is<br /><br />m ikey

I checked that sight, but the illustration is same as in my book, black and white. I can't go by the shades either, because that full diaphram is shown lighter than the gaskets and it's actually black. The one I can't figure out to use is the diaphram with the 3 flapper things on it.
