Merc 110, 9.8hp

Hello Mercury experts,my Merc 110, 9.8hp, has a serial# 4388639 and I want to know the year model. I have been to some sights suggested in prior posts but I can't find the info on this serial#. I am looking for parts schematics for this motor. When I run it in a barrel, the water flow only comes out the side "Pee-hole" when reving and not at idle, is this normal or is the impeller bad?
