Can anyone offer a diagram on which arms or barrels to adjust to correct the motor from not returning to full idle position when the throttle lever is returned to neutral? We have to raise the engine cover and adjust the idle position on the carb with a finger every time. It is quite dangerous in the marina and not to good for the unit when it slams into gear.

Thank you for any help.

Thanks for the comments, always a source of knowledge and help on this site. I was able to adjust the idle speed problem. The problem was the l shaped arm that is directly connected to the idle/throttle position on the carb. By taking off the one nut that holds it on and then turning the l shaped barrel itself to shorten it down ,it pulled the positioner on the carb tighter against the stop on the carb when everything was connected back together. Much simpler than anticipated. runs and shifts great now.

Just an FYI for future reference when you may need parts, the 120 is a 2.5l.
