I have a 2004 Merc saltwater outboard. When I trim the motor all the way or almost all the way up, outboard oil leaks out from the front where the cowling meets the motor. When I remove the cowling, I cant find any obvious place where the oil is coming from. By the way, the motor runs fine. Any suggestions?

Not at all unusual. Either coming out the fill or more likely the vent. Keep the tank half-full and only tilt as far as needed. The vent has a little check valve in it, make sure that's there. The black button cover just pops off. But the valve isn't 100% effective in keeping the oil in, it mostly slows the flow to a creep. A half-full oil tank will still last many tankfuls of gas.
