merc 140 problems!

heres the deal i picked the boat up cheap. its an 86 welcraft. i had it on the water for about a half
hour, it started to miss and then just died. the motor then would crank fine and would fire if full throttle. then would die again. i brought the boat home. the next day i hit the key and it fired right up and ran?

New coil. New alternator due to not charging issue. The motor ran good for about 20 mins. Then missed a few times and shut down. I got her home hit the key and the motor just cracked. The next day I hit the key fired right up.

I know I have fuel I can see it spraying.
Spark I have not checked. I'm picking up new plugs today. The current ones have alot of rust build up.on the outside. My guess is condensation. Would that cause my engine issue?

Ayuh,.... But is it Good fuel,..?? or fuel with water in it...

What 'bout the fuel Filters,..??
