merc 150 1991 blk max

what rpms should this motor idle at? thanks in advance doe's anyone else have this motor if so any probs?

About 7-800 in neutral.

I have an '84 Black Max (200 h.p.) and it fires right up every time. I got it from a friend this year but we have run it in salt water for the past five or six years. I am satisfied with how it's worked out.
