Greetings. I posted a week or so ago concerning WOT power loss in my 74 150. After rebuilding the carburetors, replacing pump diaphragm and checking connections on built in tank, it became clear after running with a remote tank that I needed to replace the anti-siphon valve with a 3/8 barb. The anti-siphon valve was new, but I guess it created too much restriction for the fuel pump. After replacing it with the barb, the boat ran great today throughout the power band. I previously owned a 76 70 HP Evinrude and 78 85 HP Evinrude (great motors IMHO), but have become a big fan of the inlines. This one really has a good holeshot on the 73 Glaston 18 ft boat and I'm looking forward to skiing with it. Thanks for the help and for the board overall. It's a great resource and teacher.
