merc 1979 115 6cyl another question

hi guys i have another question i am buying a 6 cyl 115 fresewater mtr from top to bottom compression is 135 130 125 120 135 I cant get the last one are the older motors the same as the newer one no more then 12to 15 lbs per cyl plus the engine is cold winter up here in NY thanks for all your help

Ya the rules stay the same. That one sounds OK, decarb it *twice* once you get it going in the spring. Make sure the max advance never exceeds 21 degees, use mid-grade gas, and prop it to make 5500 at WOT - cruise it at 4200.<br /><br />-W
