Merc 25 hp greasing the steering?

I have an '04 25hp Merc with sticky steering. The manual says to grease it using the zerk at the engine, if there. It doesn't say what to do if it isn't there.

Look for just a nipple with a hole somewhere on the tube. The zerk is on the left side of the swivel tube about 1/2 way up on mine
