Merc 25el Fuel/Oil Mixture

I apologize for the stupid question but this is my first boat that I got in a trade so I have no documentation. I'm looking for the proper fuel/oil mixture ratio for a 1996 Merc 25el. I searched the Mercury site but came up empty.

Also what type of oil do you mix with the fuel?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Use one pint of TC-W3 rated outboard oil to 6 gallons of 87 octane regular gas, Bear. That is actually a 48:1 mix but we always call it 50:1.

I have used Wal Mart SuperTech outboard oil for 20 years with good results.
