Merc 28A Shift problem

I have a Mark 28AD Shift on tiller can't get shift in neutral, the button on end of teller does not actuate anything that I can see. Hi Ron<br />My adress is alcan.fixtit@verizon.net. I have been sifting through my old Merc stuff. I have more info on timing and syncronizing. I haven't really hit on anything about your exact tiller handle yet. Let me know what you need and I will try to help.
