Merc 3.0 Alpha - What is under front motor mount?

But more importantly, why did it cave in and can it be fixed? Boat is a 1984 Regal Medallion. Have worked all summer long on it. Runs great! Took it to the lake today. Enjoying the fruits of my labor. Then wham!!! Whatever holds the front motor mounts in place seemingly collapses. Can it be fixed. I will try to upload photos.

pics will tell...but my guess without seeing would be something rotten giving out....

The foundation of the front motor mount is often made up of wood and covered with fiberglass. I suspect the wood roted out. If this is the case you likely have more rot that needs to be repaired.

You determined that all by yourself ? .. Rot .. without pics ? ..

Slow down there 1M ..

Learn the situation .. you Might be right but .. there are some other reasons why things go wrong..

Might be rot .. or it could be wrong fasteners .. pics and better explanation would help greatly ..
