Merc 3.0 EST ignition problem after 35-40 mins operation

1995, Merc, 3.0LX, EST ignition. Boat dies after 35-40 mins of operation. New battery, cap, rotor, coil & module. Motor starts/runs perfect from idle to WOT for 35-40 minutes & then dies. Used to crank back after sitting for a period of time. Yesterday, would not start back, no fire. The only thing not replaced is the pick-up coil inside the distributor.

Suggestions appreciated. This one is killing me!!

Go through the troubleshooting procedure to find out why you don't have spark now. Don't just start throwing parts at it.
