Merc 3.0 Rebuild Kits

Oh, my aching eyes.

I've done the forum search and came up with nothing. I'm looking for the good place to buy a complete rebuild kit for a Merc 3.0 130hp so I can get my vessel back into the blue. Have a couple of broken pistons, so it's time to have the whole thing redone, refreshed and renewed. Going to bore it 30 over, so of course I need to be able to order the oversized coffee cans with the kit. Only problem is.....where to go and get the most economical price on a kit, but receive the good service as well? Thanks.

I bought mine off Ebay a couple years ago for around $400. Greebaypartsworld.com also sells Mercruiser 3.0 kits. You might want to check with your machine shop too.

Yep. You might be surprised that they can usually get good prices - and since they are doing the work, they will usually give you a good deal if they can also get the parts.
