it will go down and when u press the up button itll click but wont go up. I know you'll probably tell me to check the t/t oil in it and thats what i want to do but dont know how to do it need some info.<br /><br />Thanks,<br /> TJ Thomas

Year?<br />What trim pump?<br /><br />Since you can't find how to fill the oil, I have to assume you have a Prestolite pump. The newer ones are too easy to figure out.<br />Just fill till it comes to fill plug. <br />But that is probably not your problem. What exactly is clicking????<br /><br />

Hi Don, <br />I too have that same issue, I am looking for the right fluid to put in and my res. under the pump has a filler cap, is that where I put the fluid in and do I just fill-r-up????<br />PS, don't know what pump I have, but it's on a 17 ft chris craft 87 model 3.0 ltr.

Start a new thread with your question drummer, and include what engine and drive combo you have. With the info you gave, it's impossible to answer.

what would be the right fluid to put in the resivor of the t/t? it has a cap you unscrew and just put it in.

well i put more fluid in the resivor and tried it and it still didnt work. any ideas? but it still aint completely full.<br /><br />Thanks, <br /> TJ Thomas

after thinking about it i think its the silenoid(sorry spelling) that takes it up because theres 2 on there and the one that takes it down is good. any suggestions?<br /><br />Thanks,<br /> TJ Thomas

Your solenoids have 4 terminals,two large and two small.Use a jumper wire across the two large terminals on the solenoind with the big blue wire.This will tell you that the motor is OK,and you have a bad solenoid,wiring or switch problem.That's what needs diagnosing.<br /><br />DHP<br /><br />OH Blue is up,as in sky is blue,green is down,as grass is green.

appreciate the advice and it did what you said it threw a spark and now works good as new dont know how but aint gonna ask ne questions about it thou lol thanks again
