Merc 3.0LX - Fuel Pump Gasket

I'm replacing the fuel pump in my Merc 3.0LX engine, and the new Sierra pump comes with 3 gaskets. Am I supposed to use all 3? Does it depend on the engine?

I think some of the engines and fuel pump configurations used multiple gaskets to get proper fuel pressure
