Merc 40hp 1978 switch box wiring

Hey Guys,

Just asking out there if anyone has a wiring diagram for a switch box for my merc 40hp ? The wire block has five termials on it, the switch box has red, blue, brown , white and orange wires from it. When we took it apart to rewire the motor harness and put in a new stator we might of got confused on were they go... yea we marked them but we wanna make sure.. can anyone help?

Not sure if your motor is 2 cyl or 4 cyl. They have listings for both in the link above.

Thanks man, I have this one already thank you thou... The wires all the same except the salmon wire, mine looks orange but maybe it changed color like the rest of my old wires..
