So I spent all day trying to work out a little problem i have been having with my starboard engine. She runs very well at about 150 degrees all the way up to about 3300 RPM then quickly rises to 170 plus. I have never let her go beyond the 170 - 175 mark. Today I changed the thermostat, radiator cap, soft hose from the oil cooler to the heat exchanger, cleaned out and flushed the heat exchanger. I have a good flow of sea water into the boat, riser working great and no leaky coolant anywhere. What do you guys think? :p

... it is the 190MR engine. The port side runs fine at 4400 RPM.

I had a similar issue it ended up being a slightly loose belt. As the rpms increased it slipped more. Just a thought..
