merc 500 charging

How hard would it be to add a charging circuit to 1968 merc 500 with thunderbolt ignition? Should I even worry about it?

I would have thought yours would have the system installed. What is your s/n?

I thought so too. Theres nothing under the flywheel. I thought it might have been in the Magneto drive thing. Would be nice to have. Might have to go solar.

I found it. It's not part of the fly wheel. The charging circuit is in the ignition driver.
