Helping a friend's son with his 7.5 Merc tiller. The throttle cables need to be replaced. He got the tiller off. We can't figure out how to get the cable guide block out of the back of the tiller.
Serial number on the engine starts with 55 [don't remember the whole number] and he has the warranty card , original date of sale was June 1980.
Any ideas appreciated.
