Merc 800 break in

Hi Guys,
Just spent all winter rebuilding my '69 Merc 800. Got it into the test tank last weekend. I had some help with the "link and sync" from the mechanic in the photo. Started on the second turn of the key!

Ran it at idle on AV Low lead at 16 to 1 for about a half hour. Purrrrred. I hope to get it onto the boat in a few weeks. I was wondering, what is the best method to break in my new Baby!

25 to 1 for the first 10-12 gallons of gas vary engine boat speed from 1500 RPMs to 5500 nothing steady up and down up and down.

Then she is ready. JR
