So while I'm waiting until I can order rebuild kits for my carbs, I've decided to do some other maintenance to my '75 850.. One of these things is, I want to replace the fuel line and primer bulb from tank to pump, but I've run into another dilemma.... I have read and re-read my clymer manual, as well as searched this site as well as google to find out what size this line should be, but no luck! Have read everything from 1/4" to 3/4"... so what the heck size should it be?? Or should I ask if too big of a line will have a negative effect on performance/fuel consumption.. I know too small a line can cause issues.. Thanks again, and I hope I don't end up driving people crazy with my questions! lol
