Hello, I just purchesed a used motor,cables and control box with no key. I've never owned a merc before. From what I could find out about this motor it is eather a 74 or 76. Ser # begins with 454_ _ _. I forget the last 3 #'s. For $150 
I thought I'll Give my mechanics at outboards a try! I don't know if it even runs??? I need to get a manual for it, any sugestions? Also it has tilt cylinders on it and two hydraulic lines attached, no motor or pump. Seems as though it had a remote pump and motor??? I may ask a few more questions until I get a manual for it. Thanks
